A Cultural Event — Not Just a Performance
Conducting a one-week production lab that culminates in three high-energy, full-tilt preview performances of EXCESS at The Haskell, November 13–15, 2026, while the U.S. midterms are still hanging in the air, offers an opportunity to create something rare: a cross-border theatrical experience that brings audiences together at a time when dialogue matters. Each performance is followed by a talk-back with the cast and production team, ahead of the full production in March 2027.
The preview has the potential to attract:
- Theatre audiences from Canada and the United States
- Visitors seeking unique cultural experiences
- History and arts communities
- Supporters of cross-border collaboration
- Sponsors interested in meaningful community engagement
