JULIA LOZANO

Montreal

Meisner was a revelation for Julia—a way to trust her impulses, stay present, and let authentic connection create organic reactions. She trained in the technique for over five years with Scott Williams (Impulse Company) in NYC, London, and Paris, and with Robert Cordier in Paris.

A multidisciplinary singer, dancer, and actor, she began her career in France in musical theatre, operettas, and classical theatre before shifting her focus to on-camera work. Her collaborations include work with Jacques Duparc (Opéra de Reims, Opéra d’Avignon), performing Molière at Théâtre Fontaine with the Colette Roumanoff Company, and playing the Prince in The Prince and the Pauper.

Based in Montreal since 2016, she performed in Hâgar et la source and joined Passeurs de Voix as an artist and actor coach for an immersive creation inspired by Visniec’s Migraaants. Following her connections with La Porte Rouge and Paul Hopkins, she now leads Meisner Technique workshops in Montreal, and also teaches yoga, dances flamenco, studies flamenco singing, and writes.
