What We Cover...

No fixed curriculum — sessions move between technique, audition prep, on-camera work, and career strategy, based on where you actually are.

Your new Acting Coach

Paul Hopkins

Paul is a working actor - you've seen him on Suits and Reacher, and on stage at the Stratford Festival — which means every note he gives comes from someone still doing the job, not someone who used to. Thirty years on stage and screen taught him one thing casting directors won't say out loud: what feels true in the room and what reads on camera are two different skills. He coaches both — as an actor and a director — so you're not just guessing what's working.

His approach is built on the Meisner Technique: listening, truthful behaviour, emotional specificity. Sessions are collaborative, not lecture-style. Paul works with you, not at you.

Selected credits

  • "Mouse" in the Emmy-winning "More Tales of the City" and "Further Tales of the City"
  • Dale in Disney's "Zombies"
  • Guest roles on "Reacher," "Suits," "19-2," and 25+ other series
  • Feature films including "Red 2" and "The Art of War"
  • Former Artistic Director of Repercussion Theatre (Montreal's Shakespeare-in-the-Park)
