SETLIFE
A two-weekend film production intensive for actors and emerging filmmakers (crew).
SETLIFE is a hands-on, immersive workshop that gives participants real experience inside a working film-set environment while collaborating to create an original short film.
You will learn the language, rhythm, responsibilities, and expectations of a professional production by actively doing the work—in front of the camera or behind it.
Exploring late November and December 2026 dates.
There is no fee to apply and no commitment until the dates and full details are confirmed.
Choose Your Path
Actor
Develop truthful, camera-ready performances while learning how actors work within a professional production. Participants receive practical on-camera experience, direction, and an understanding of continuity, coverage, eyelines, marks, and the pace of a film set.
Actors will receive a minimum of 1 minute of professional footage suitable for a demo reel.
Crew
Gain practical production experience while rotating through key crew responsibilities. Learn how the departments work together and how a film moves from preparation through principal photography.
