Join us for a special evening of live performance and film at The Huether Hotel.

The Actor Atelier’s Scene Study class presents an evening of selected scene work developed over the course of the session — followed by the premiere screening of the original short film SETLIFE: Happy Hour.

Created through the immersive SETLIFE workshop process, Happy Hour was developed and filmed collaboratively by actors and emerging filmmakers in a real working production environment. Set over the course of a single evening in a bar, the film explores connection, loneliness, humour, longing, and the strange moments of intimacy that can happen between strangers.

The evening offers a unique opportunity to experience both sides of the actor’s craft:

• live, immediate scene performance
• and the subtle, intimate work of film acting on screen

An intimate night of storytelling, performance, community, and celebration.
